Grab a sandwich and drink, then strap in for an hour of high velocity data management at VoltDB’s Lunch & Learn session. VoltDB is a blazingly fast relational database system (you read that right, a RDBMS at a NoSQL conference!) that’s been clocked at over 3 million TPS on commodity scale-out gear. Volt delivers the benefits of NoSQL while retaining data consistency and relational semantics. Join Ryan Betts, Senior Software Engineer, for an overview of VoltDB’s architecture and best practices. Ryan will give you exactly the info you need to install, build and deploy VoltDB databases.

Ryan Betts is an Architect at VoltDB, Inc., where he has played a key role in the development of VoltDB’s core technologies including distributed transaction management, fault tolerance, cluster management and RESTful APIs. Previously, Ryan was a software engineer at IBM (via acquisition of DataPower) and Lucent Technologies (via acquisition of Ascend). He also earned a BS in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
