Acunu Analytics - Real-time, Big Data Analytics with Apache Cassandra

Acunu Analytics is a real-time, incremental analytics platform built on top of Apache Cassandra. It is designed to provide analytics on fast moving Big Data, in domains such as web and social media analytics, sensor networks and for other machine-generated data.

Inspired by Twitter's Rainbird, we provide a generic, flexible and easy to use interface, which can scale to tens of thousands of updates a seconds and terabytes of data. We can answer a wide variety of useful queries in milliseconds, rather than the minutes or hours needed by Hadoop.

Tom leads the engineering team at Acunu. He previous worked in a range of engineering roles at both Citrix and XenSource managing key customer projects with major enterprises. As one of the first employees at XenSource he played a key part in developing the XenServer management stack. He holds an MA in Computer Science from Cambridge University where he was also a research assistant.
